Question
had an accident both parties had geico insurance when i put in a claim for damages geico told that the other party had no insurance & that i would have to make a claim with the uninsured clause in my policy is this correct i live in nj he lives in nc

Answer
Hello Mike,

This does not sound correct. If the other party is at fault, then their Geico policy must corver you under their liability coverage. If however, you are at fault, then your Collision should cover your for your damages.
