Question
Would a child injured in a school bus accident be eligible for Florida PIP coverage through their parent's auto policy or through a resident relatives policy in one exists, or are bus accidents exempt from PIP coverage and should be filed with health insurance?

Answer
Hi James,

To the best of my kowledge, a claim for PIP coverage could be made on either the parents or resident relative policy. You should contact the insurance company to make a claim. They will instruct you from there.

I hope this helps
