Question
I have loss some receipts for my modifications, some of the mods were bought at shows or swap meets for cash. So I do not have all the receipts. I also have an additional custom policy for 15k on top of my full coverage. so all the modifications could be done to my vehicle. What do I do?

Answer
Mike,
Unless your policy or endorsement says you have to maintain receipts, then your only duty is to cooperate by giving them what you have. So if you did not save the receipts, then they cannot deny your claim for the items. They cannot force you to recreate receipts. They can hire their own investigator or adjuster to try to go back and get receipts from stores, etc
