Auto Insurance Claims/wrong settlement

Question
SUV rear-ended my VAN and pushed VAN under truck. Traffic stopped on red light. Insurance denied claim, because SUV has under $500 damages, but VAN $15,000. They told damages inconsistent with SUV and SUV could not push VAN. What should I do?

Answer
You need to talk to an attorney. A lawsuit could be brought against the person who hit you (not the insurance company).

Small claims court is also an option, please see: http://www.auto-insurance-claim-advice.com/small-claims-court.html

I hope this helps

Good Luck,
