Question
My Explorer was totaled in a fire at a auto repair shop. Their insurance company is the one's that said it was a total loss and they valued the loss at $3,387.00.I only had PIP on it since it was a used (new for us) truck. Their insurance company said that since the auto repair shop only had $30,000 coverage that I would have to settle for $1,831.34 for the totaled truck.Do I have to accept it? What are my options? The state I live in is Florida if that makes any difference in the answers.

Answer
Well then make them prove that they paid the full $30,000 on other customers cars and that you got your fair percentage. And make the shop owner give you a photo copy of his insurance "Declaration Sheet" which shows the policy limits. However if they are just low balling the value of your Explorer, get the eBook at UClaim.com entitled "Total Loss Auto Advice for Claimants" for $25.00 to show you how get all your money based on your particular circumstances. And it has a money back guarantee.
