Question
my car was parked in front of my house and was hit by a dominoes pizza delivery driver and he ran.  he is not the owner of the car. He has a dollar a day insurance which has no liability so his insurance company won't pay and I only have liability on my car s the most I can get is $5000.00 but its going to cost more then that to get fixed can I sue the driver and owner and also dominoes pizza since he was working at the time.

Answer
Hi Louise,

I'm not sure I understand the "dollar a day insurance" that you referred to. However, if there is not sufficient insurance to cover your damage you would have a case directly against the driver, the owner and dominoes. You may wantr to contact the Dominoes manager and tell them that their driver damaged your vehicle to make a formal report. Also explain that their driver did not have insurance and you are holding them responsible. If they are not willing to pay for the damage then you may have to file suit.

I hope this helps
