Auto Insurance Claims/auto claim against me

Question
I was involved in a minor collision in the parking lot of my apt complex. The other driver turned her damages into her insurance co. I did not. There was no police report filed and there was no fault cited. But her insurance is trying to make me pay for her damages. Stating their investigation leads me to be responsible for her damages. That is down right not even true. If you look at it as an uncontrolled intersection she was north bound I was west bound so really I had the right of way. I need to know what to do. Because they don't have the right to make me pay them

Answer
Hi Nicole,

You need to report this to your insurance company right away. They will take your statement as well as the other drivers and they will then contact the other insurance comapny to discuss who is at fault. You should be prepared however, the the final decision maye very well be 50/50. So each side will pay half of the others damage.

I hope this helps
