Question
My wife and I were rear ended by a drunk driver he sent us spinning around i could not control the vehicle and we hit the center median.  We have settled with the drunk drivers insurance who paid our medical bills.  i only had the minimum liability insurance. Can my wife as a passenger recover from our insurance company?  We have no pip or um/uim.

Answer
Wow, Hi Willie,

I hope you are okay!

Your wife is also entitled to a settlement from the drunk driver. Both of your medical bills and/expenses, as well as pain and suffering must be settled individually.

I hope this helps,
