Question
I  had an accident 7/9/009, been suffering from headaches, weakness, memory loss, lack of concentration, neck, back, and shoulder pain. Have gone to Physical therapy, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and still suffer from the same...the other driver was found 100% at fault, his limits are 25,000 which they have offered to settle for.  My attorney advised me to settle.s. He will be taking 33.5% and I need to pay med. bills in excess of my health insurance coverage.  I do carry Under insured coverage.  Which my lawyer has demanded for, will he take 33.5% of that as well? What can I do to avoid paying him these fees again?

Answer
Hello Marcela,

Well, if you have an attorney, you probably signed an agreement. Did you read it? Really, if you did not, now you are going to have to do that and see if you can change lawyers and if so, for how much. Usually, this will cost you much more at the end, but you can check.

Other than that, you are probably stuck with the agreement you signed.

Good Luck,
