Question
hi..need to ask what to do here. my shelter insurance agent is very very hard to get in touch with. recently, i e mailed her and asked how much it would cost to add un-insured motorist to cover our 2 cars. she never wrote back, so called her and she quotes rates over the phone. however, she never sent a bill here for the added coverage. with her acting this way, and she has been like this for a long time, should i just find another agent around here? what to do?  thank you!

Answer
Hi James,

Yes. You should find another agent. You should also call the insurance company directly and complain about the agent. If she is that unresponsive with you, she is also likely that way with other people and should be straightened out. If you have had a collision with an uninsured motorist you would not have been covered despite your inquiries. In the future even if you have a better agent, get everything in writing.

I hope this helps
