Question
I do surveys for home occupancy and have been handed cases for autos- my instructions say " have the winshield inspected and photographed to verify replacement and take clear winshield "bug" photographs. What does bug photographs mean?????

Answer
Hi Michelle,

Not to sound flippant, but I think "bug" means insect. I do not know why they want to photograph bugs on the windshield.

It sounds like the are looking for proof that the windshield was actually replaced so they are not presented with another claim for the same broken windshield in the future.

You may want to call the company for further verification.

I hope this helps
