Auto Insurance Claims/Is the Toyota dealer partly responsible for damages to my parked car?

Question
I brought my 2005 Corolla in to have two fuses replaced. I dropped it off at the dealership that services my car and left it parked in a designated parking space.  When I returned to pick up my vehicle, I was told that I had been hit by another driver who admitted fault. My car had been serviced and then parked in front of the garage bay doors where no parking spaces exist when it was hit. Is the dealership at fault here in any way?  Thanks

Answer
Hi Debbie,

No. The dealer is not responsible. Since the damage was caused directly by the negligence of the other driver who admitted they were responsible, the dealer has no responsibility in this situation. You should contact te other drivers insurance company to report your claim.

I hope this helps
