Question
i do not have collision.  my car went out of control.  i asked mechanic if it could be checked for malfunction.  he said it could not be done if the computer in the car was   destroyed.  car was 1998 eldorado & totaled   thanks for help.

Answer
Hi Loretta,

Even if it could be done, it would not mater. The car is too old to relate back to the manufacturer. The age and mileage on the car likely led to a suspension problem that caused loss of control.

However you could try to find a master mechanic to look at your car. This could cost you several hundred dollars.

I hope this helps
