Auto Insurance Claims/Pedestrian Accident

Question
I was walking across a 4 lane road early one night and was struck by a mini van after reaching the second lane.  It was between intersections.  I was transported to the local ER and treated for injuries.  My statement and the police report (driver supplied the details) state that I was struck while walking across the street.  I believe the driver's statement to her insurance company said that I walked into her moving car.  Her company is denying liability based on her statement and their "investigation".  What's my next step if I still feel that they are wrong in their determination?

Answer
Hi Rick,

This is basically a he said / she said situation. You will need to find witnessess who's story will match yours. You should also speak to an attorney. They may have a better handle on this kind of situation.

I hope this helps
