Question
I was in a car accident about a month ago. I have been experiencing some slight back discomfort, and now pain. I never went to the doctor. And have been taking asprin/motrin for the pain. I was told to contact the insurance company. What should i do?

Answer
Hello Diandra,

You really need to be seen by a doctor. You don't know what's wrong. One month is a long time to still have those symptoms. Usually, a car accident "whiplash" last 1 to 2 weeks. You are outside that. Contacting your carrier is also advised.

Also, please read this article about injuries http://www.auto-insurance-claim-advice.com/bodily-injury-claim.html

Read the entire thing, but it's important that you read below the heading "What constitutes an injury"
