Question
My daughter was involved in auto accident, she is 27 & currently a senior in college to become a pharmacist.  She is working part time at a pharmacy now, and will continue throughout pharm school.  She was involved in a one car rollover where the driver was at fault, she broke her femur as she was ejected from car.  She had surgery to pin leg, and other than that a lot of soft tissue damage.  She was in hospital for 7 days, and now is doing therapy.  She may have to quit school for the semester, and lose her job if things don't go right.  What amount do I start requesting?

Answer
Hello Brett,

Your question is very hard to answer. I know you tried to give as many details as possible, but they are not sufficient. The only way to really tell what range is good is to look at the medical records and see how long she is going to take to fully recover (and if she recovers).

Also, if she misses the semester, what effect that will have on her career?

Also, there are many "damages" she can ask for, here is a short list of them:

If you don't want to hire a lawyer (not recommended), please see:

I hope this helps
Good Luck
