Question
Hi
I chair a coalition working on improving seatbelt laws in Massachusetts. We are trying to engage health and auto insurers in the coalition.
Do you have data on what percent of MEDICAL costs in an auto crash are payed by AUTO insurers versus HEalth insurers?- any specific or general info would be helpful
Thanks

Answer
Hi Greg,

I do not have any data of this type, however, you should check with a variety of auto insurance company associations. Once such association is the Property & Casualty Insurers Association. You can start with their website at www.pciaa.net . They should also be able to refer you to other sources of information and statistics.

I hope this helps
