Question I went to pull into a parking spot at a local market and another vehicle started to back out so I put my truck. In nuetral thinking I might have to back up but person stopped so I put my truck from nuetral to drive. My truck rolled a few inches and rear bumper went into the grill of the car behind me which I could not see in my rear view mirrior. So the total bill for the damages was a little over 4100 dollars and now I was informed that the total is 12K, 8000 for medical bills . The individual drove the vehicle away and never complained of pain. The insurance company replaced the grill and the bumper on the damged vehicle. Any advise would be great and what sort of attourney am I looking for. Thanks jeremy
Answer Hi Jeremy,
You should not be handling any of this. You need to referr all calls or mail to your insurance company. As part of your policy your insurance company will hire an attorney to defent your case. You should not speak to anyone from the other side. Not the driver, their insurance company or their attorney. You should only speak to your insurance company or their attorney. Call your insurance company immediately to inform them of what is going on.
