Question
I know someone who was involved in an accident where she lost control of her car and got hit by another driver.  She contacted their insurance company and was told that because the accident was her fault they would not be responsible for the damages caused to her by their insured driver.  Does this person have any other options regarding the insurance company to pay for her car damages?  Thankyou.

Answer
Hello Disha,

Why did the other vehicle collided with her? If she lost control and the other vehicle did no avoid the collision or simply came later and caused bigger damage, then she may not be at fault. If she lost control and that is the only reason why the collision happened, they only her insurance will pay for her damages.
