Question
My husband was in a motorcycle accident 5 years ago and he almost lost his left leg, he was hit by another driver on her cell phone, the case was settled out of court for 30,000 I really think his lawyer screwed him over, he had to have his leg amputated on friday due to complications of the injury, can he make a claim with our insurance company for the loss.

Answer
Wow, well it depends on how the settlement came about. They need to talk to a different lawyer, but this will be a very difficult since there was legal presentation.
