Auto Insurance Claims/liability coverage

Question
My husband and I both have liability coverage. Me on my car and him on his truck. They are both with the same company but it is of course two different policies.
My husband just backed up and hit my parked car.
We were on our own property, we have acreage and were not in our usual parking spots near the house.

Will his liability insurance cover my car?

Answer
Hello, most likely yes. He is liable for the damages to your car (spousal immunity has been overruled for years now), so his policy will have to pay for your damages.

The damages to his car will probably not be covered.
