Question
When must you report an accident at the police station and can an insurance comapny reject your claim if you only reported in 3 days? And why especailly if no one was injured and you were not at fault someone bumped you? What the next step to take if they don't pay out ur claim?

Answer
First of all, read your policy. If says "give us notice of loss" asap or right away, or whatever, the law says "reasonable". I doubt your claim would be denied in your situation. But if it was, go to small claims court or see an attorney if its a large claim and or make a complaint to your state department of insurance.
