Question
If I borrowed someone's car and hit a deer will my comp coverage cover their vehicle if all they had was liability insurance in the state of Georgia?

Hi Wendy,

Generally, auto insurance follows the vehicle not the driver. However if you could convince your insurance company that this was a temporary substitute vehicle, you may be able to get them to pay for it. All you can do is try.
