Question
I will pulling out from a parking spot on the righ side of the steet facing south.  I had preceived the area to be clear.  As I put my car in reverse to create more room from the parked car in from of me- my car got scrap from a car passing.  It look like paint from my car is on her car and visa versa.

Answer
Hi Joseph,

I can not tell who is at fault based on that description. If you were parralell parked on the sude of the street meaning the parked cars looked like this - - - - then the only way for someone to side swipe you is if you actually moved out of your space into the lane of traffic. On the other hand, if you did not move out into the street then the other car would have had t have swerved into you.

It is hard to make a decision without hearing the other drivers side of the story.

I hope this helps
