Question
I recently had an accident that was my fault I hit a driver from the back. At the time I had no insurance. The driver reported the accident to his insurance co. I told him to cancel the claim and that I would take care of the repairs personally he did. There was no police report taken and everything went smooth, but now im worried that my licence will be suspended for no insurance im in California will my licence be suspended.

Answer
Hi Dakston,

Since there was no police involvement and the insurance claim was closed without payment, there is no one to request that your license be suspended. You should not worry about this.

However, you should be sure to purchase insurance as soon as possible. Next time you may not be so lucky.

I hope this helps
