Answer
As I've never seen your car or the estimate for damages, or your medical records I have no way to determine what a fair settlement is.  I can tell you that based on the $500 injury settlement offer, your bumper damage was likely limited to scratches on the plastic bumper cover with no additional damage to any of the structural components beneath.  If this is indeed the case, then I’ve seen cars hit with bicycles get as much damage.

The transfer from one rep to another likely had nothing to do with the handling of the claim.  The rep transfer more likely occurred when you presented injuries, as that is a different department.

In my experience, “attitude problem" translates into "the rep will not pay me what I'm wanting".  It happens to me just about every time that I have to actually say "no" to a claimant, no matter what the reason.  The next call is to my boss complaining about my attitude.  It's really funny to read claim notes and see some of my other co-workers, whom have won national customer service awards, being referred to by an angry claimant is "having an attitude".  We find that the ones who complain the loudest also have the most claims and if you look through the history of the claims, you find that everyone in the company "had an attitude".  I had a guy yesterday whose vehicle was hit low on the right side in a parking lot.  He tried to claim a broken wiper arm up high on the hatch back door along with the heavy rust on the door as loss related.  Though he is the one attempting to commit insurance fraud, I am the one that will be reported as "having a bad attitude" because I denied the fraud.

You stated that you have talked to your "LAYWER".
If this is the case, then why am I being contacted?  Did you not like his or her answer?  You also stated that you were under a doctor's care, but are now going to go to a chiropractor.  To me, it sounds like the medical doctor is through with you, so you're going to shop around until some bottom feeder chiro will help you get some more money.
Just remember.  The three most popular advertisers that appeal to the lowest class on late night TV are:
Sex talks peddlers, Girls Gone Wild, personal injury attorneys and chiropractors.
I'm sorry if I've offended the kind folks at Girls Gone Wild.

That is my honest answer Tracy, as advertised.

Expertise

Auto damage, liability, insurance fraud. I am a full time auto insurance adjuster with experience in collision, theft, liability and fraud investigation. I am also an ASE Master Auto Tech and I-Car Collision Platinum certified. My experience includes 15 years in the auto repair industry, a B.S. in Criminal Justice, Law enforcement and auto insurance. ****** NO "PRIVATE" QUESTIONS WILL BE ANSWERED. I HAVE FOUND THAT NEARLY ALL PRIVATE QUESTIONS COME FROM PEOPLE WHO ARE CONSIDERING OR ATTEMPTING TO COMMIT FELONY INSURANCE FRAUD AND I'M NOT HERE TO HELP YOU! ****** I AM HERE TO ANSWER AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR, CLAIMS PROCESS AND SOME SIMPLE LIABILITY QUESTIONS. I CANNOT ADDRESS COMPLEX LIABILITY SCENARIOS WITHOUT HAVING ALL OF THE INFO FROM BOTH SIDES IN FRONT OF ME. QUESTIONS ABOUT PREMIUMS OR HOW INSURANCE IS RATED SHOULD BE ADDRESSED TO YOUR PERSONAL INSURANCE AGENT WHO KNOWS A WHOLE LOT MORE ABOUT YOUR HISTORY THAN I DO. I'VE NEVER SOLD INSURANCE AND DO NOT KNOW IF YOUR INDIVIDUAL INSURANCE RATES WILL GO UP IF YOU MAKE A CLAIM. THOUGH I'VE HANDLED SOME VERY MINOR SOFT TISSUE INJURY SETTLEMENTS, I PREFER NOT TO ANSWER INJURY RELATED QUESTIONS. I'M NO INJURY EXPERT AND I'LL LIKELY SAY SOMETHING TO HURT SOMEONE'S FEELINGS AS I BELIEVE THAT MANY SOFT TISSUE PAIN AND SUFFERING CLAIMS ARE OVER DRAMATIZED. UNLIKE MANY OTHERS, I AM ON THIS FORUM AS A VOLUNTEER WITH NO PRODUCTS OR SERVICES TO SELL AND PROMISE AN UPFRONT ANSWER BASED ON MY EXPERIENCE IN BOTH SIDES OF THE INDUSTRY. IF YOU PROVIDE ME WITH A HONEST VERSION OF EVENTS, I PROMISE A CANDID AND HONEST ANSWER IN RETURN. I CANNOT ADDRESS ALL CLAIM SCENERIOS DUE TO DIFFERING STATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS, BUT WILL DO MY BEST. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT AN HONEST ANSWER MAY BE ONE THAT YOU DON'T LIKE SO IF THAT IS GOING TO BE A PROBLEM, PLEASE DON'T ASK THE QUESTION. LASTLY, I DO NOT ACCEPT RATINGS AS I DON'T DO THIS FOR RATINGS AND WISH TO SPEAK FREELY.
