Question
Ok, I just want to know what an SR-22 form is?  A friend of mine received a letter stating that his license would be suspended and that he needed to send an SR-22 form before April 21 if he had not already done so.  If you can not answer this question can you please let me know who would be able to.

Thank you,
Faby

Answer
Your friend must have been in an accident.

An SR-22 is a form (yellow in color) that the police or your agent normally provide after an accident.  It a form that the car owner/insured completes part of and then the insurance (his/her) completes the rest of and then submits to the appropriate DMV to verify that at the time of the accident the individual named on the form was PROPERLY INSURED... the form needs to be completed and submitted within a certain and prescribed time-frame.

Have your friend talk to his agent or his insurance company.. they should be able to assist him.

Hope and trust that the above answers your question.

Please take the time to rate this response in nthe various catagories...
