Question
Hello,

My car was hit by a backing driver while my car was parked. Several damaged
was done to the front fender of my car. A scene witness caught the driver and
registered the model of the car, color and plate number. He left a note on my
windshield with this info, information that i used to file the police report.
My question is, how long does it take for a case like this to resolve? and what
are the possible outcomes?

thanks for your time,

Victor.

Answer
Hi Victor,
If you haven't already done so, you need to contact the driver of the adverse car, learn his insurance company information and file a claim with them.
They must then get a report from their insured.  The claim should be resolved within 2-3 weeks from that date.
I hope this has been of help.
Your feedback by rating my answer will be appreciated.
Sincerely,
Bennie
