I was involved in an accident a couple of weeks ago.  I was not at fault.  In working with the insurance company, they are accepting liability.   I injured my knees and have been to the dr. I now need to go to physical therapy for about 10 visits.  How do I get the insurance company to pay for these visits.

You have hit on an important topic, and that is deciding whose insurance should pay the medical bills, yours or his.

As you can see, our first choice is your own HEALTH insurance.  Second choice is your own PIP or Medical Pay in no-fault.  The last choice is the tortfeasor's insurance.  

HOW do you get started?  Well, you just go to the doctor if you want to use your health care.  You open a PIP claim if you want to use your own insurance.  NOTE: some companies do not want to pay for care costs of their own insureds when there is a tortfeasor insurance carrier to bill.  Tell your insurance that is BS: you paid for the insurance and you have every right to use it.  MAKE them pay your bills or tell them that you will make a complaint to the state insurance http://www.settlementcentral.com/links.php commissioner.

As for the tortfeasor's carrier.  Tell the adjuster that you will be having the bills sent to her and get her address.  It is that simple.
