Question
I plan on renting a larger car for a one week vacation trip, and I do not know if I should pay extra for thr insurance offered by the rental agency.   I have liability and comprhensive coverage on my vehicles with State Farm.  Any advice?

Answer
What about Collision (COLL) coverage?  That's the main coverage you need to have when renting a car.

Another issue is the size of your Coll and COMP deductibles...

If they are HIGHISH ($500+) you might want to onsider the renter COLL.COMP coverage if it's reasonably priced.

Suggest you check with your State Farm agent to confirm that you coverages (1st and 3rd Party) will in fact "roll-on" to the rental as it customarily does...

Hope and trust that the above answers your question.
