Question

Honda CRV 1998
Hello,
Please help me out on this. I leave in a Portuguese speaking country. My car got broke and I need to import the bad parts from the US. My mechanic does not speak English and he can't tell me the parts names in ENglish. Would you please be kind enough as to tell me the part's name in the attached pictures? My car model is Honda CRV 1998

Answer
The long thing with the gear on the end is the vehicle speed sensor.  That other item has me stumped, though.  It's obviously a large transistor with a really big heat sink attached, so it's used to regulate or switch something that draws a lot of current.  My guess is that it will have to come from a Honda dealer.  You might try hondaautomotiveparts.com .  Look at illustration number 6, I think that's the part that you need-- http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/jsp/mws/prddisplay.jsp?inputstate=5&cat...
These folks can probably supply you with both items, although I don't know much about customs and shipping to Angola.  If that's a problem, there's an outfit called Aramex Shop 'n' Ship that can take care of that problem, too.
