Auto Parts - RPM Tachometer

Question
Hi, I have 1997 Toyota Tercel Manual transmission, but it doesn't have RPM guage :S.
So my question is, how I fit one ? like how it can be done? what i need to change and so on. Thanks.

Answer
I would go to a website such as summitracing.com and look at what tachometers they have have available.  Remember, you are going to have find a place to put it.  There are a lot of sizes available, as well.  Look through their offerings, you might even want to get them to send you a catalog.  Then, when you think you know more or less what you want, call them and talk to them about what will work with your car.  Different ignition systems interface with tachometers in different ways.  You may have to buy an adapter.  The guys at Summit are very knowledgeable and should be able to set you up with something that will work and fit in your car.  Good luck.
