I am having trouble removing the battery from my 04 cadillac srx. I can not see how to remove it from the tight space in which it rests.Is there a specific way to remove it?

    I have never worked on a SRX, so I don't know.  But, your owner's manual should give some hints as to how to get it out, especially if it is difficult.  Battery compartments on newer cars can be very tight, and batteries are very heavy.  They make battery lifting devices, several kinds, and you will probably need one in order to horse the battery out of its hole.
