Question
1998 Ford Ranger Xtra Cab, V6 4.0L, 4WD, Automatic - Trying to find the O2 sensor parts for the factory installed wiring harness.  Do you have any suggestions?

Answer
Not sure what you mean by this question.  The oxygen sensors themselves can be had at any parts store.  The harness would have to come from the dealer, unless you can find a wrecked Ranger of the same year and strip what you need off of that.  If you mean the plug on the end of the harness, then you could go the used route and splice the newly obtained plugs in place of the old ones.  This is one case where I would recommend soldering the connection (ordinarily a bad idea for a number of reasons) because the voltage supplied by the sensor is very low and even a little voltage drop across the splice would screw up the signal to the computer.
