i need to know if upper and lower control arms from a 1995 chevy truck will fit my 1995 chevy g20 v8 conversion van?  they have been discontinued for the van.

    I don't know if they are the same, you could check at a salvage yard.  They have a book which will tell them what parts will interchange off of different vehicles.  I can tell you that they don't use the same ball joint, so I doubt that they are the same.  I'll bet that finding a good used one won't be difficult, though, they made a lot of these vans.
