Question
I have a 1997 Toyota Camry and the ignition is stuck in the lock position.  I have purchased the cylinder and key part but I need to know how to remove the part to install the new one.  Could you please help?

Answer
The lock cylinder has a little lever protruding from it that has to be depressed in order to release the lock cylinder.  Thing is, I'm pretty sure that the lock has to be in the ACC position to get it out.  If you can't get the switch to turn to ACC, you might be stuck with calling a locksmith.  Sometimes it's just the key in these cars, but if you can't get the old key out, you're in a real pickle.  I think I would call a pro, they have the tools and know-how to fix things.  Sorry
