Auto Parts/Side Mirror Replacement on 98 Sonoma SLS

Question
My dad has a 1998 GMC Sonoma SLS Pickup (4-cylinder, 5-speed manual, manual windows, manual mirrors).  The pickup was purchased here, in Texas, and driven 2,000 miles to Belize (Central America).  I just bought a couple of new side mirrors for my dad and sent them to Belize.  Can you email me or point me to a link where I can find diagrams and step-by-step instructions for him to replace his mirrors?

Answer
If you ask nicely, the dealer will give you a print-out of the exploded-view diagram in the parts book that shows the mirrors.  As this is a very simple job, that should really be all of the information that you need.  He might even be able to get it from a GM dealer in Belize (if there is one).  Once the you pry off the cover on the inside of the door, the whole job will be a piece of cake involving a couple of screws with Torx heads and an electrical connection if the mirror is that type.
