Question
Im not sure what the name of a part on my 95 dodge caravan it has a 3.0 L engine, 6 cyl. and i need to know what the name of the part is that all four of the steel brake lines screw into. I have had a ton of trouble trying to find the name to get a new part.

Answer
Normally, I would think that you were describing the proportioning valve.  However, if you have anti-lock brakes, then you wouldn't have a proportioning valve, and the brake lines would screw directly into the ABS pump assembly.  So, I have a feeling that you don't have ABS, and we are talking about the proportioning valve.  It usually has to come form a dealer, and sometimes you might be better off buying a used one at a salvage yard.  However, since, on most cars, they never go bad, a used one might not be a good idea in this case.
