Question
Hi.
I need a power window motor for a 1994 Toyota Corona. any Idea where I can buy one. I am in the us, but I need it for Jamaica.

Thank you.

Answer
OK, that's a problem for me, 'cause they didn't sell the Corona in the States that year.  In fact, they replaced the Corona with the Camry a long time ago.  They sell a lot of Japanese home-market cars in countries that drive on the left, like the U.K., Jamaica, South Africa, Australia, etc.  Your best bet would be to find a source in the U.K.  I've heard that many of the island countries have steep duties, but you could ship the thing to yourself in the U.S., and then take it to Jamaica next chance.  Another choice would be to bring the motor up here, have it rebuilt, and then take it back.  That might even be cheaper.  There is probably someone on the island that could do this same job, if you could find him.  Electric motor repair is not rocket science, but you need to be able to get the parts.  Good luck.
