Question
What is the rubber or plastic elbow that goes from the water pump to the head called and how do I remove and replace it on a 2005 Buick Lesabre 3.8 V6

Answer
    It's called a bypass hose, but I don't see one listed for this engine/car combination.  There are definitely no hoses or tubes attached directly to the water pump, but I don't see any going to the front cover either.  I would say this calls for a trip to the dealer and a look at his exploded-view diagram.
