Question
I have a wheel bearing that came loose and i was just wondering can i just tighten that til i get the money to fix it

Answer
That depends.  If it's a FWD car w/ sealed ball bearings, the answer is no.  If it's a RWD car with tapered roller bearings, the answer is yes.  If it's a FWD car with tapered roller bearings on the rear, then the rears may be tightened.  If it's a RWD car with a bearing pressed onto the axle, then no.  Let me know the year, make, and model and I can be more helpful.
