Question
1997 Eldorado - can I access this switch without removing the whole door panel?

Answer
    I'm not sure.  I had a 99 Seville, and almost everything was the same as the Eldo.  Based on that, I'd say no.  Taking the door panel off isn't as hard as it looks, you just have to keep track of all the fasteners and make sure you put it back the way you found it.
