    If it was built after 1994 it could set this code with a bad pump.  Very few of these later model cars still use a pump, though.  If the code is showing up, then you need to have a pro hook it up to a proper diagnostic machine (not just a code reader) and find out what is wrong.  Smog pumps, if they are still turning, don't go bad much.
