am having same problem with my 97 f-350 7.3l diesel.  definately water and cooland leaking out.  still trying to locate source of leak and have not experienced overheat yet. I also noticed a squeeking noise that sounds like worn out bearings from that general area. orieleys auto parts has the pump new for 150 and remanufacture for 200. will keep you informed
