Question
Hello Dan, I have a 72' Chev. Vega which I currently have a Big Block 396 backed by a Turbo 400 trans. I just added a new front clip with a Pinto-Mustang2 rack/pinion front and 1 piece glass nose. I am looking for a shop here in South, Florida who specializes in custom built headers to fabricate a set for this car, I know thay will need the car to perform the work.

Thanks Dan, nice website.
Tom

Answer
Hi Tom:

If I EVER get my new GT Lite ride closer to finished I will take it to Twin Cam Sports Cars here in Sarasota.  Phone is 941-923-0024 the owners name is Steve Smith and he does gorgeous work. To do my four cylinder set, bend them around the back of the motor, down and out the passenger side he said MIGHT run around $700 with no way to really know until it was done.  I forgot what he quoted me for hourly rate but it was reasonable and fair for this day and time.

Steve is from England and races a Lotus Elan with us, and in the Vintage class, he whips the pants off the Vettes- - -even the big blocks. In short he KNOWS what he's doing.

Best answer I have Tom,  though there is a custom shop further north near Gainesville, I don't have contact info, if you need it, do write back !

Good luck
