Question
I am building a hobby sportsman race car and need to know if gm produced a 2 bbl cast iron single plane intake And if they did where can i find one

Answer
Hi Mike:

Soomehow I missed your question, I apologize for being late to respond !

I start to have trouble counting once I pass about 6 spark plugs. I'm going to refer you to an internet friend of mine , Randy Cooper who is a pro engine builder out in Arizona. His e-mail is
< coopster62@cehighperformance.com > He can help you if anyone can.

You might also try to locate a local race engine builder for further information. Since they deal with class rules all the time, many times they have the parts books and manuals with the info you need.

Good luck!

Experience

I have been racing for 20 years, I have been the Central Florida SCCA Regional Championship points for 5 years running, and won the championship in my class 2 times. During my first start in the 60's I won many solo awards and the State Championship Drags. I serve as a senior instructor for SCCA, and have taught in Mercedes AMG events at Daytona, and Dodge Viper Days at Sebring International. I have been in the thick of the competition for all of my career. At one time or another I have driven race cars at speeds nearing 195 MPH. It's quite a ride !
