| Comment | Thank you very much Dan for the prompt, polite, clear, and curteous reply. As soon as is practically and or financially possible I intend on replacing the O2 sensor, as my suspicion is I'm getting about 33% worse fuel economy than I should be getting (unless I'm imagining it). I also hear that the O2 sensors go out and then the computer runs in protection mode (i.e. rich mix) which wastes fuel and impedes performance. Actually, one of my biggest concerns at the moment is not how well the car is running (since it pulls pretty good and gives most BMWs a run for their money), but Nissan is notorious for rust out. I was quoted 3k by an area body shop to replace 1 fender, paint, 40 hours labor, etc. Obviously I'm not having that shop perform the work, I've started doing it myself, but I might still have to get some work done and I was wondering if you had a reccomendation for honest work, fair price, etc. Thanks very much, and safe and happy motoring to you! | ||

I have been racing for 20 years, I have been the Central Florida SCCA Regional Championship points for 5 years running, and won the championship in my class 2 times. During my first start in the 60's I won many solo awards and the State Championship Drags. I serve as a senior instructor for SCCA, and have taught in Mercedes AMG events at Daytona, and Dodge Viper Days at Sebring International. I have been in the thick of the competition for all of my career. At one time or another I have driven race cars at speeds nearing 195 MPH. It's quite a ride !
