Question
Where is the best place for getting information about jobs with NASCAR?

Answer
Hi Samantha:

The best place to START is with a subscription to Circle Track Magazine..

http://www.circletrack.com/subscriptions/index.html

It's the magazine many pros look to for the latest info on technical stuff.

Then look at ads for schools in various specialities. Machine work, engineering, and other related stuff to do with race cars.  Of course there are literally thousands of jobs to be had, from sweeping the floors to executive level financial management.  The educational backgrounds and requirements would of course, very widely depending upon where exactly your interests lie.

Why don't you give this some thought as to where exactly you'd like to be in 5 or 10 years, and write me back with more specifics. Then perhaps I can offer some more realistic help.

Good luck !!

Experience

I have been racing for 20 years, I have been the Central Florida SCCA Regional Championship points for 5 years running, and won the championship in my class 2 times. During my first start in the 60's I won many solo awards and the State Championship Drags. I serve as a senior instructor for SCCA, and have taught in Mercedes AMG events at Daytona, and Dodge Viper Days at Sebring International. I have been in the thick of the competition for all of my career. At one time or another I have driven race cars at speeds nearing 195 MPH. It's quite a ride !
