Auto Racing/Custom exhaust build for BMW

Question
Hi Dan,
I'm a defense contractor currently working in Afghanistan. I own a 2006 BMW M5 which resides in Tallahassee, Florida for the time being while I am gone. I have been researching exhaust systems for this vehicle and they are downright ridiculous.  I do not want to pay the prices they are asking. I know that one can be fabricated for cheaper. My question is this: Do you know of a shop in Florida that can build my exhaust system the way that I want it and with great quality? I want a shop that knows what they are doing. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Answer
You can try Twin Cam Sportscars, 6085 Deacon Rd., Sarasota, Fl phone is (941)-923-0024  The owner's name is Steve Smith.  I've seen some of his work and it's excellent.  He is a British ex-pat and is highly skilled.

As to the cost, I could't tell you, though he quited me a price on a completely custom made header for my race car that was reasonable for what I needed.

Best of luck
