Question
Hi Dan: I've been an Indycar fan for 45 years and rarely miss watching a race on TV. I did miss the race at Texas Motor Speedway on June 5 in which Danica Patrick came in 2nd. I'm a big fan of hers. I've spent literally hours on the Internet trying to find a company that sells Indy DVD's, but have failed. Do you know of any company/entity that does this?

I almost never take questions of this type - - - -but I'm an Indy fan too. Since 1954.
I caught just a glimpse of Danica finishing second at Texas, Wind Tunnel had almost NO mention of it, and in answer to your question, I know of no source for DVDs of old events. If you find one I'd like to learn of it.
I am a bit of a Danica fan- - -I wish she'd smile more !! I also have high hope for Milka Duno because she is so gorgeous and a Latina (Love 'em) and I cheer for little Sarah Fisher for her guts, determination, and underdog status. For the rest of them I favor Dario Franchitti for his way cool accent.

| Comment | Dan: Thanks for your reply. I've searched forever trying to find a DVD of that Texas race - if I ever score, I'll definitely let you know. I just want to see Danica get 2nd place in that race - I really flipped when she won that race in Japan. I like Milka & Sarah, but this Danica is really talented. I agree she doesn't smile much, and can be pretty grumpy, but she's all business. Just watched the qualifying on TV for tomorrow's race. Danica was 3rd at one point, but ended up in 9th position. I WILL watch the race tomorrow. In my quest for that DVD I even called VERSUS, the TV station that carries the races. Thanks again, Richard in Apple Valley, CA | ||

I have been racing for 20 years, I have been the Central Florida SCCA Regional Championship points for 5 years running, and won the championship in my class 2 times. During my first start in the 60's I won many solo awards and the State Championship Drags. I serve as a senior instructor for SCCA, and have taught in Mercedes AMG events at Daytona, and Dodge Viper Days at Sebring International. I have been in the thick of the competition for all of my career. At one time or another I have driven race cars at speeds nearing 195 MPH. It's quite a ride !
